I will be bringing Masala Bhangra to the Isle of Wight very soon (watch this space!) I am one of just 16 Instructors in the UK to be certified in this fab new class
The Masala Bhangra Workout® is derived from two Indian words:
• Masala, which means ‘spicy’ in Hindi, and
• Bhangra, which is a traditional folk dance from the northern state of Punjab, India
The Masala Bhangra Workout® is an exercise dance routine that modernizes the high-energy folk dance of Bhangra by blending traditional Bhangra dance steps and the exhilaration of Bollywood (Hindi film) moves, seen recently in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire! This unique dance mixes cardiovascular with fun, and is suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Masala Bhangra® is an ACE and AFAA approved fitness program and devised by Sarina Jain, the “Jane Fonda of India.”
Classes will be coming to Ryde, Newport and Cowes………………..
Masala Bhangra and Metabolic Effect classes are coming soon to the Isle of Wight and I am the first to be certified to teach these classes – Just like in 2007 when I was the first person on the Island to train in Zumba!!!
